Last weekend turned out to be very rich in events, titles and victories for our standard poodle team. We participated in two dog shows in Moscow.
Here are our results.
All-Russia all-breed dog show organized by club “Antei”, judge T.E. Zherenkova (Russia).
Black toy poodleATAMI OYAYUBI HIME won a victory in the Open Class: CW, CAC, BOS, Champion of Federation.
Here is HIME’s description:
"Thoroughbred. A pleasant expression. A level topline. A deep chest. Excellent angulations. Good coat texture. Well prepared and shown.”
In the final contest ATAMI IZYMI was the second in the FCI IXth group (judge N. Maslennikova)!

The results of this show allowed ATAMI IZYMI to get the title of the Junior Champion of Russia!

The dog show”Golden Collar” took place in Moscow in the CSKA football hall, judges Monique Van Brempt (Belgium), Zlatko Kraljik (Croatia), Rita Kadik (Latvia), Salvatore Tripoli (Italy),Denis Kuzelj (Bulgaria), Anatoliy Zhuk (Bielorussia)
This annual event is a champion show: only Junior Champions or Champions of countries-FCI members can participate in it. The main prize of the show is a golden collar and a car.
The atmosphere of the show is full of mystery and intrigue. The participants are impatient to learn the judges’ decision.
According to the rules of this unique show, the judge in the ring is determined by a draw. The final Best-in-Show is judged by all the 6 experts, but the latter don’t have the right to discuss anything with the others. The show is very important, the participants are the best, the concurrence is very high.
The show is inaugurated by the speech of the President of the Russian Cynological Federation A.I. Inshakov.
More than 1000 dogs took part in the show.
Only at this dog show the dogs that obtain a BOB title become RCF Breed Champions. This title can be included in the pedigree of the puppies coming from these dogs.
The judge in the poodle ring was Denis Kuzelj (Bulgaria).
Black standard poodle ATAMI ARAFEL MUTEKI (Solo) got the title of the Best Dog-2010, BOB-2010, Breed Champion-2010!
The final Best-in-Show proceeds in some stages. The dogs compete in pairs: one of them runs on the red lane, the other on the green one. The experts can’t exchange any remarks, they stay in separate booths and vote for their favourite dog raising a red or green flag. The winner takes part in the following round.
Black standard poodle ATAMI ARAFEL MUTEKI (Solo) defeated very strong dogs and took part in all the 4 rounds.
Four dogs could be the winners of the show: a Samoyed dog, a German Shepherd dog, a Welsh Corgi Pembroke, and a Kerry Blue Terrier. The Samoyed dog DOBRY MOLODETS IZ MOSKOVSKOY METELY won the Golden Collar and the car!
German Shepherd dog DE ORSE MAK FLAI OSTIN was the second and got the Silver Collar.
To the sounds of music, the winners get their prizes, there are camera flashes and clinking of goblets with Champaign. The waiters are cutting an enormous cake for the winners!

Silver standard poodle ATAMI DZIKAN-O KANTSU SURU MONO (Duc) made a debut at two dog shows in Tver’
All-Russia dog show (RCF Champion level) organized by Tver’ Cynological Club, judge E.A. Levshova (Russia). Results: CW, CAC, BOB, RCF Champion. Here is Duc’s description:" Well built. A noble head. A level topline. An excellent chest. Excellent angulations. Active and free movements. Excellent coat. Wellshown."
In the couple contest Duc was shown with white standard CHANCE BIJOU GVENDOLEN. They were the second among six couples.

At the Regional dog show organized by the club “Viola Polaris” (judge Ivan Dimitrov, Bulgaria) Duc got CW, CAC, BOB, and the title of the Champion of Federation.

At the All-Russia dog show “Zvezdopad” in Moscow our Mishel and Gordik’s son, black standard poodle ATAMI KATSURO was a success, judge Mrs Kryukova (Russia).
Mishel showed a very good training and a capability to compete with very beautiful dogs.

Now only one step separates him from the title of Junior Champion of Russia
ATAMI KATSURO for the first time in the Junior ring (judge S. Druzhinina) was among six best dogs. He did not get a prize, but looked wonderful and felt self-confident

The ХVIth National Poodle Show took place in Moscow. This event usually brings together poodle enthusiasts from many Russian towns and from abroad. More than 150 poodles took part in the show (judge Istvan Csik, Germany).

Black standard poodle ATAMI KATSURO (Mishel) was shown in the Junior class.
His result: 2nd place, J СC.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that Soli is only 10 months old.
Black standard poodle EMEREI ZABAVNAYA MELANG entered the ring to win as so there were no almost five years’ pause and 23 puppies she gave birth to during these years.
Beautiful, joyful, self –confident, her charm was irresistible and she became the Best Bitch in the Veteran class.
In the Best Veteran contest she was the second after her famous father Caro-Line's Curious c Columbus.
Here is the description given to Mishel:
”9 years old. Very feminine. A beautiful head. An excellent neck. Excellent chest depth and forebreast. Excellent built. Good movements. Joyful character."
At the end of the show day the most keen and tireless poodle amateurs gathered around the main ring to watch final contests.

The International dog show “Eurasia 2010” took place at the International Exhibition Center “CROCUS EXPO”. It is a prominent annual dog show in Eastern Europe and the CIS visited by more than 100,000 people. “Eurasia” contributes to the propagation of high culture of keeping dogs in a family and treating them in the society. This dog show is a bright and attractive event for both amateurs and professionals. The visitors had a very good time and were in a holiday mood.
We also came to this show to support the father of ATAMI S litter black standard poodleCARO-LINES CREATIVE CAVALIER and our grandfather black standard poodle Caro-Line's Curious c Columbus.
Black standard poodleCARO-LINES CREATIVE CAVALIER (Kuki) won a victory in the Intermediate class (CAC). Then in the contest with very strong rivals he got CACIB and the title of the Champion of Eurasia.
